What's inside the guess paper
This isn't a random MCQ dump. Every question in the guess paper earned its place by appearing — or being heavily hinted at — across 9 years of LAT tests. Here's the breakdown:
- English: the most repeated synonyms, antonyms, one-word substitutions, and preposition questions from all 31 papers.
- General Knowledge: high-frequency static GK — capitals, currencies, international organizations, famous books, and Pakistan firsts.
- Basic Mathematics: the five arithmetic archetypes HEC rotates: percentages, ratios, averages, age problems, and basic algebra.
- Islamiat & Pak Studies: the most repeated Seerah facts, battles, caliphs, Pakistan-movement dates, and constitutional milestones.
- Written section: the most expected essay topics (social issues, education, technology themes that recur) plus a personal-statement framework.
How this guess paper was created
We compiled every MCQ from 31 LAT tests (2018–2026), tagged each by subject and topic, and counted frequencies. Questions and topics that repeated across multiple years — or appeared in slightly reworded form — rose to the top. The result is a concentrated revision set: instead of rereading everything in your final weeks, you drill the material with the highest historical hit rate.
Let's be honest about limits: no guess paper predicts an exact test. HEC always includes fresh questions. But historically, 30–40% of each paper comes from the repeating pool — and that's exactly what this document targets. Pair it with our full solved past-paper archive for complete coverage.
How to use it in your final weeks
- Download and print it — or keep it on your phone for commute revision.
- Solve it closed-book first, then check answers. Mark every miss.
- Cross-check misses against past papers — you'll start seeing the same facts appear in both, which is the pattern working.
- Write one essay from the expected-topics list under timed conditions. The written section is 25 marks most students underprepare for.
