Enter your Matric %, Inter % and LAT score. Adjust the weights to match your university's formula. Instant estimate.

In short

Enter your Matric percentage, Intermediate percentage and LAT score below; the calculator applies the standard 10% Matric / 40% Inter / 50% LAT weighting (adjustable via sliders) to estimate your LLB admission aggregate. This is an estimate — every university uses its own official formula, so verify with the university's admission criteria.

How the aggregate formula works

Pakistani law universities combine three numbers into one merit score: your Matric percentage, your Intermediate percentage, and your LAT score (out of 100). Each gets a weight. The most common formula is:

Aggregate = (Matric % × 0.10) + (Inter % × 0.40) + (LAT × 0.50)

So with 85% matric, 80% inter and 65 in LAT: (85 × 0.10) + (80 × 0.40) + (65 × 0.50) = 8.5 + 32 + 32.5 = 73%. Some universities use different splits — 20/30/50, or 10/30/60 — which is why the sliders above are adjustable.

Which number can you still change?

Your Matric and Inter marks are locked. Your LAT score is not — and it usually carries the biggest weight. A student with 75% inter who scores 70 in LAT beats a student with 85% inter who scores 55. That's why LAT preparation has such a high return: every mark you add goes straight into your aggregate at full weight.

Aggregate FAQs

How is LLB aggregate calculated in Pakistan?
Most universities combine your Matric %, Intermediate % and LAT score with different weights — commonly 10% Matric, 40% Inter and 50% LAT. The exact formula varies by university, so always verify with the official admission criteria.
What is a good aggregate for PU Law College?
PU Law College has the highest merit in Punjab. As a rough guide, an aggregate in the mid-70s or higher keeps you competitive — but closing merits change every year. Use this calculator to see where you stand, then aim higher.
Does a higher LAT score matter more than Inter marks?
In most formulas, yes — LAT usually carries the highest weight (around 50%). That is good news: unlike board exams, your LAT score is still in your control. Every extra LAT mark lifts your aggregate directly.
Is this calculator official?
No. This is an estimate tool using the common 10/40/50 weighting, adjustable to match any university's formula. Final merit is decided by each university's official criteria — always confirm there.
